Wearing a Mask is an Act of Love

Valentine's Day is a special time for families, friends, and significant others to show their appreciation of one another. Residents at Christian Horizons communities show the real reason to celebrate the special day. Wearing a mask is a breathtakingly simple - and powerful - act of love.

Lewis Memorial Christian Village Opens for Family Visits

Lewis Memorial Christian Village (LMCV) is now allowing family members to visit residents of the community. The visits come with several rules, procedures, and protocols, as the health and safety of residents, staff, and the community remain our top priority. Cleanliness and infection control have always been a part of the routine at LMCV, extra procedures – including the use of personal protection equipment and staggering appointments to maintain social distancing – are now in place. Appointments are available from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and can be scheduled in 15-minute increments by calling 217-787-9600. Learn more

We're closer than ever to
those we serve.

As a faith-based, not-for-profit, Christian Horizons’ mission has always been to honor God by delivering a continuum of care. Today, our mission continues in a new context. Across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Missouri, our nurses, nursing assistants, associates and staff are working tirelessly and purposefully to keep our residents secure and comfortable and to ensure that our communities remain sources of friendship, support, inspiration and Christian values. We’re all practicing social distancing now. But we’re also closer than ever to those we serve.

Our Difference

Christian Horizons is more than just senior living communities.

We aim to meet the needs of older adults and others wherever they live.
