At Senior Care Pharmacy Services (SCPS) we’re dedicated to serving our communities—and the larger community—as we would our own families by providing outstanding, reliable and affordable pharmacy services. Our patients trust us with their health. And our mission is fulfilling that trust.
When you call your hometown SCPS, a friendly professional will pick up the phone—not a computer. They’ll take the time to listen, understand your needs and give you the right information. They’ll also go the extra mile if you need something right away. And if that sounds like neighborly, small-town service, it actually is. We’re located in the small town of Monticello, Illinois. So, you'll have the best of both worlds with SPCS: the extensive resources of a big city provider and the caring, personal touch of a neighborhood pharmacy.
Timely delivery and accurate dispensing of medicine is crucial, especially when it involves older people. You can rely on SPCS to provide the highest level of service and support—from monitoring for potential drug conflicts to dispensing appropriate medications to regularly reviewing each patient’s medication regimen. When you work with SPCS, you’ll have a partner with years of experience providing exceptional pharmaceutical services to long-term skilled nursing care and assisted living communities.
One measure of the quality of a pharmacy is employee turnover. When people stay longer, they likely have high job satisfaction. The people who work at SPCS are skilled, honest, responsible and truly care—taking an interest in patients and their families. It’s no wonder that SPCS has received the THRIVE Award for Least Employee Turnover.
Our experienced pharmacists and nurse consultants are specially trained to meet the needs of older adults and consistently deliver the highest level of service. To ensure exceptional accuracy and speedy order fulfillment, SPCS utilizes state-of-the-art Parata automation—allowing for multiple dispensing options with pre-packaged strips clearly labeled for each resident for each day and time.
Our pharmacy is open year-round 24/7 with pharmacists ready to answer your questions and provide responsive service whenever you need it. In addition to scheduled daily deliveries, you can count on us for 24-hour, on-call delivery with a 2- to 4-hour STAT commitment, depending on your location. In fact, in the 15 years we’ve been in business, there have been only three occasions when major storms have kept us from making deliveries.
SPCS is a Medicare Part D provider to all major carriers and offers Medicare Part A and private-pay rates that are highly competitive with all major long-term care pharmacies.
