One day, after family visits had been restricted, I heard laughter nearby as I sat in my office. I walked over to see what was the fun was all about.
A feeding assistant was helping a resident with her meal while they were using FaceTime so that the lady could talk her daughter. As I stepped behind the resident, I could suddenly see the source of the laughter. On the screen, the most precious baby and toddler were blowing kisses to our resident. She was smiling from ear to ear and blowing kisses back. I am thankful that we have the opportunity to help our residents FaceTime with their families during this challenging time, because the interactions are so real and meaningful!
