Christian Horizons Invests in its Leadership with ACHCA
(Washington, DC. March 24, 2020) – The American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) and Christian Horizons announced that the faith-based, not-for-profit organization, has enrolled 14 members of its leadership as professional members of ACHCA. The group membership consists of community Administrators and their operations team.
ACHCA founded in 1962 is the professional organization for long-term care and post-acute administrators. Studies have shown that administrators who are members of ACHCA manage nursing homes that provide higher quality of care and score higher on the CMS star scale. ACHCA has thousands of members nationwide. Membership in ACHCA is a mark of distinction for many in the profession and members have a passion for being the top leaders in healthcare administration. Membership in ACHCA provides a wealth of education, networking, and industrywide information to help administrators in their career.
“We are excited that Christian Horizons has undertaken this major investment in the leadership of its company,” said Bill McGinley, President & CEO of ACHCA. “We are excited to welcome their administrators into the ACHCA and look forward to having them become part of the Catalyst for Excellence in Post-Acute and Aging services”.
“We are so pleased to make this investment into our ministry’s leaders. ACHCA is the premier professional association for long-term care and post-acute leaders. We want our excellent team to engage with the finest resources, education and colleagues in our field. This investment will advance our mission and help articulate the level of excellence we aspire to each day at Christian Horizons.” Ray Dickison, FACHCA, Chief Operating Officer.
