During the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the virus had stretched us to our limits and tested our resilience, you stepped up to make a difference.
In the most difficult of times, your many acts of kindness kept our spirits up, even as the pandemic raged on. You treated us as part of your family — and, now, Christian Horizons communities offer you our sincere gratitude.
Throughout these many months, you have also stayed home, worn masks, practiced social distancing, washed your hands, and learned new ways to gather with family and friends. You’ve done your part to weather this pandemic. And we appreciate it. But those actions are just as critical now as they were earlier this year.
As we continue to do everything we can to ensure we are here to care for residents and guests in our care, we ask that you also stay the course as the pandemic resurges in our communities. Please continue to practice all of these important COVID-19 safety precautions to keep yourself and others safe.
Last, please get your flu shot. It’s even more important that we work together to reduce the number of flu cases this season. Getting a flu shot helps keep you — and your community — healthy.
Currently, we can not allow in-person visits. To keep the holidays special, you may drop off items on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Please package food items in disposable containers and label with the resident's name and the date.
The safest way to celebrate winter holidays is at home with the people who live with you. Travel and gatherings with family and friends who do not live with you can increase your chances of getting or spreading COVID-19 or the flu.
