Extending Gratitude and Thanksgivings

Posted on: Nov 21, 2022

Welcome to the season of gratitude.

Here at Christian Horizons, we have a lot to be grateful for, from our senior living and retirement service associates who selflessly serve to our incredible residents, clients, patients and family members who bring incredible joy to the work we do.

Please join our president and CEO, Jake Bell, for a special Thanksgiving message.

Since our last holiday season, Christian Horizons has embarked on a new era, led by our recently approved multi-year strategic vision. We’re proud and grateful to embrace the opportunity to rebuild, respond and refocus our service for seniors across the Midwest.

Counting our Blessings in 2022

Opening the Doors to New Horizons PACE
This spring, we proudly opened the doors to New Horizons PACE St. Louis, a revolutionary care model supporting Medicare-qualifying older adults who need skilled nursing support yet want to remain living independently in their home. New Horizons PACE is part of the Medicare and Medicaid supported PACE® initiative - Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly. Found throughout the nation, New Horizons PACE is the only program of its kind serving St. Louis. Learn more.

Industry Experts
This year, our team lent their expertise for senior living and senior services organizations across the country. Through industry presentations, special topic panel discussions, leadership cohorts and more, our leaders were selected to reimagine the future of this industry. Christian Horizons associates contributed to the Senior Living 100 conference, the LTC 100 conference, Argentum, LeadingAge and more.

Our New Mission, Vision and Values

After months of research, collaboration and teamwork, we’re proud to unveil a new mission, vision and core values that best reflect the work we’re doing now and our work for the future. Learn more

Rebuilding, Responding and Refocusing our Work
Together, we’ve walked through some of the most challenging years our industry has ever seen. We’ve seen other communities and industry partners unable to weather through the challenges. They’ve closed their doors and left those they serve wondering what’s next. At Christian Horizons, we made a commitment to be there for those we serve, regardless of the obstacles. This next season for our organization is a turning point, where we must overcome the obstacles and embrace the opportunity to rebuild, respond and refocus our mission in action.
